ABSTRACT OF SERVICE

⚠ TO ANYBODY TRYING TO VERIFY THIS ⚠

You will not be able to. I want to say that up front, plainly, before you spend your Saturday on it. That is not a defense of anything. It is a description of the situation. If being un-verifiable is disqualifying to you then we are going to have to part ways here and I hold no hard feelings about it. There is a fishing blog two clicks away on the web ring.

NOTE ON ROW 5: that row was released to me in 2014 as part of a batch that a clerk in St. Louis clearly did not read before she sent it. I have left it exactly as it came to me. I did not type it and I did not un-black it. If somebody wants to be upset about row 5 they should take it up with St. Louis.

Purple Heart (3)2003 / XXXX / XXXXOne of the three is in the system. The other two are not in any system, and the scars are not in any system either, but I promise you they are on me.

"NO RESPONSIVE DOCUMENTS." Four years of a man's life and the government's position is that nothing was submitted. Not a bad evaluation. Not a leave request. Not a dental appointment. A soldier cannot go four years without a dental appointment. Somebody had to sit down and remove the dental appointments.

That is the part that gets me, if you want to know. Not the medals. The dentist.

ON MY DD FORM 214

My DD-214 has my name spelled correctly, my entry date, my separation date, and eleven blocks that are empty. Not redacted. Empty. There is a difference and once you have seen both you never un-see it.

The VA has looked at it. The VA had a meeting about it. I was not invited to the meeting. I did eventually receive a letter about the meeting, and the letter said that the matter had been "resolved administratively," which is the exact same sentence in a different suit.

⚠ TABLE D (OPERATIONS) WILL NOT BE POSTED. DO NOT WAIT FOR IT. ⚠
